Growing up as a first-generation Asian American in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve been devoted to authentic and diverse storytelling my whole life. I grew up on a diet of foreign cinema, a variety of literature, and all the best media the early 2000s had to offer. I found my love for film production at the Academy of Art University, eventually obtaining my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Film Arts from Long Beach State University.
I jumped straight into television after graduating college, working as a Production Assistant on ABC’s American Idol and Rebel before taking a four-year-long residency with the global entertainment company DONE+DUSTED. Through my years growing from a coordinator to producer with D+D, I helped to conceptualize and develop creative concepts and visual decks for dozens of branded and live entertainment productions, collaborating with writers, designers, and executives to align storytelling and strategy.
I’m currently freelancing in production and development as a producer, and am continuing to write and produce personal projects, including my upcoming projects Transplants and Let It Breathe. At the heart of my professional ethos is a passion for amplifying marginalized voices, empowering fellow minority creatives, and building teams grounded in collaboration and respect.
Outside of work, I enjoy attending art/music events, eating & traveling with loved ones, watching Formula One, and keeping up with active hobbies that range from beachside sports to dance to pickleball. I’m also a dual citizen and authorized to work both in the US and the European Union. English is my native language, and I am conversational in German.
